Taco – Liscious Tuesday at Fred’s Mexican Cafe over in p.b. last night was just amazing. The place was crowded as usual and the vibe was really cool. Quite a bit of eye candy too. The homie Manuel from work decided to join Rose, Michael and I. Pics from the bonkerz night.

Sometime after our food order was taken, a cute girl working that night was walking around the restaurant and choosing random guests to be crowned for a sombrero hat. She walked to our table and quickly told us about their Sunday night special of lobster tacos. Before she could finish and say how much they were, I said “yah they are $3 for sundays”. I kinda impressed her cause she smiled in amazement and wondered how I knew the price of them. I mentioned to her that I saw the Sunday night special sign up front ha. As for the sombreros, me and Rose got to rock them that night..awesomeness!

After the cute worker left, I told myself that I should of got a picture taken with her while she was still at our table. I prowled her down after a couple minutes.

The endless tortilla chips and salsa were pretty good and free.
Our food arrive after some patient waiting. Crispy chicken, calamari, shrimp, carne asada, carnitas, baja fish…a wide assortment of 17 delicious tacos. I got 1 crispy chicken, 1 carnitas, 1 calamari, 2 shrimp and 1 baja fish taco. To quench my thirst I had a glass of water, 14oz blue ribbon draft and 2 shots of jose cuervo, my appetite was bonzers last night.

I made a bet last week with Michael while at Fred’s Mexcian Cafe for Taco – Liscious. I’ll break it down..
- Michael has to eat a calamari taco (since he hates seafood) and I’ll throw in a shot of cuervo.
- I have to take 2 shots of jose cuervo. I had to pay for everything.
The bet took place last night. We both were in a lose – lose situation cause he hates seafood and jose, and I hate jose too. I took one more shot of jose though just so he’ll agree to the bet haha. Watching Michael struggle eating the taco while Rose, Manual and I get a kick out of it…priceless!!!!

Real good times last night with cool people. I gotta give mad props to Michael cause it takes guts for him to even try and eat seafood, but I got him to do it and he finished it…what a champ!
